Think about a show you really, really, really, without a doubt enjoy. What would it take for you to quit it? It might be a few bad episodes. Maybe a couple bad seasons. Maybe it's because of a terrible fanbase. Or maybe, perhaps,it's all four of those! Well, where am I going with this? Well, looks like I must tell you.
I an at least 50% - maximum 90% sure that I am going to leave the My Little Pony fandom. I feel that My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic is the boy-based cartoon equivalent of SpongeBob. What I mean is this: Our almighty ruler, Lauren Faust (who has a dA account:
) had a wonderful idea, and just when the show became really good, she ditches her loyal fans. Many writers, artists, and newbies have taken her place, and nobody seems to get it right. Characters have been flanderized, reviews have been negative, and and some new characters are getting really bad. For example, Maud Pie is completely one-dimensional! all she thinks about are rocks! she must have some other interests besides rocks, right? Since I've watched reviews of "Somepony to Watch over Me" ( including those of
), I've been gaining a lack of interest for the show, and all I draw nowadays is my beloved mailmare, Derpy Hooves, with nopony else looking the slightest bit decent, not even my own OC's. Also, I have gotten this random vendetta against Princess Luna. I have been gaining some interests of things I've never thought I'd like (for example, Xiaolin Showdown).
In other words, Lauren Faust, PLEASE COME BACK!!!!! You don't have to go back to all those studios are anything, but you could at least look at how bad this show has gotten, and try to get the new writers' email addresses. Once you do, please help them with improving your series as a whole. You have adopted some babies, and your writers are practically abusing them! You have to put a stop to this! quitting this fandom is a very hard decision for me to make.
So, please come back! You may also have permission to tell them that I sent you there, but it may not be a good idea. I have something called humility, and it is something very hard to get. All I want you to do is help this show. Like I said, it is becoming the toy-based cartoon equivalent of SpongeBob. The only cure is for the creator to come back. I know you're busy and all, but when you're not busy, take some action, at least a little at a time, because by the time Season 4 is over, I'm afraid I'll quit the fandom.
